Summary

In 1988 a small hole was dug at this site. This work unearthed two medieval pottery sherds as well as a post medieval Delft sherd and two clay pipe stems.

Trench aligned west to east 1.6 x 25 x 1.7m.
0.8m modern brick and building rubble, floor surfaces etc.
0.8m of homogenous dark brown clay silt (post medieval) below.
Site for B & Q shop.
