About 1979. Found after rotavating, about 23cm (9 inches) deep in area about 6m by 4.8m (20 by 16 fee). Roman greywares, one Thetford type ware rim and lots of Medieval sherds including greenglazed Grimston and a twisted jug handle.
Roman sherds identified by D. Gurney (NAU) 24 August 1989.
Other material identified by W. Milligan (NAU) 24 August 1989.
