Full Description
26 September 1990. Fieldwalking.
Found on surface of sandy gravel in area cleared by Forestry Commission and recently restocked (Site A):
1 prehistoric flint flake. Very bulbous primary flake, slightly stained and rolled. Condition dates as Palaeolithic. Bold chippings of edges may be artificial retouch or natural crushing.
Identified by J.J. Wymer (NAU). See NHER 8992 for details of other finds found on Spong Heath at this time.
