Civil Parish MARLINGFORD, SOUTH NORFOLK, NORFOLK

June to July 1990. Metal detecting find in top 12.5cm (5 inches) of scarified soil.
Hoard of 168 denarii.
Landowner provided digger to remove topsoil (23 to 26 cm). Test hole showed natural at about 37 to 38 cm.

Coins not yet identified, so no coin list at present.

November 1991.
Six further denarii found and declared Treasure Trove.

1992.
