NMP mapping has led to the alteration of the centre grid reference for the site from TG 2410 3538 to TG 2412 3539.

The circular pillbox described above and believed to date to World War One is visible on aerial photographs (S2-3). It lies 45m to the north-east of a second pillbox which is likely to have been contemporary (NHER 16794). Both structures may have been sited to guard the road junction between them.
