Summary

Metal detecting in 1992/3 recovered a possibly Neolithic spearhead reused as a knife, and a Neolithic flake. Also found were a medieval coin, ring brooch, buckle plates and a cauldron leg, together with a post medieval spur terminal and box hinge. Further detecting in 2008 recovered a medieval or post medieval unidentified silver object.

Full Description

1992 - 1993. Metal detecting. Large scatter including 24807, 25607, 25608, 25609.
17th century hinge-plate for box and spur terminal.
Identified by S.Margeson (NCM) 1993.

Possible Neolithic spearhead reused as knife/piercer. Also a flake ?knife
