October 1993. Metal detecting finds.
Five medieval coins.
One post medieval coin.

Middle Saxon bronze pin with globular head decorated with ring-and-dot, shaft broken.
Late Saxon bronze animal head finial or foot with engraved decoration - eyes and muzzle at 'closed' end and engraved tendrils towards open end (mane).
Lovely early, i.e. 5th century, Early Saxon narrow animal head foot from cruciform brooch, squashed catchplate on reverse.
Partly melted openwork Late Saxon fragment with leaf decoration (?Winchester style).
Identified by J. Davies (NCM) and S. Margeson (NCM).
