Summary

Metal detecting recovered a large number of finds dating from the Roman to the post medieval period. These include a Late Saxon strap end, a medieval horse harness pendant and a medieval copper alloy fragment of a figurine of a knight. The knight would have been part of a larger scene on an Easter sepulchre or altar with three or four soldiers and Christ stepping out of his tomb. Roman, medieval and post medieval coins were also found.
