A Second World War Type 22 pillbox, visible on aerial photographs (S2-S4) and depicted by modern Ordnance Survey mapping (S4), is presumed to be the same as that described above. It lies approximately 235m to the south-east (at TF 7815 3915) of the originally recorded location (TF 7807 3938), but no pillbox is visible as that location on the consulted aerial sources, including aerial photographs taken in the 1940s. It may also be the same as Historic England Research Record 1393814 (S5), but the latter is recorded as being located approximately 445m to the north (no pillbox is visible here on the consulted sources), and as being of Type 24 design rather than Type 22. The pillbox was part of the defences for Docking Airfield (NHER 13551). It is visible on aerial photographs taken in 2023 (S4) and is presumed to still survive.
