Summary

There is a late medieval 16th century ceiling within this building, but the visible parts of the exterior are Regency in style and the extensions to the rear are 19th and 20th century. The main barn dates to 1780. Major expansion took place around 1800 with alterations, and a new set of farm buildings, in the 19th century.

June 1995. Building Survey.
A Great House and farm complex. The Hall includes a late medieval/16th century ceiling (from elsewhere?), but the remainder of the building is an early 17th century end-stack house. Most of the detail is obscured by decorations of early 19th century date. There have been 18th century additions and Regency façade. The farm consists of a very ornate brick barn of about 1780 with 19th century wings.
