Summary

An L-shaped area of water is marked on the 1839 Foulden tithe map at this location. It is labelled fishpond but the shape seems more like a medieval moat.

(S1) shows an L-shaped body of water with a small pond projecting from the southwest corner. It is marked as 'fishpond' on the Foulden Tithe Map (S1).
