Full Description
6 May 1997. Systematic Fieldwalking Survey and Borehole.
Evaluation of proposed reservoir site.
6 prehistoric worked flints (some late Neolithic) and post-medieval building debris.

August-September 1997. Additional Fieldwalking and Watching Brief.
Additional fieldwalking produced further flints including Late Neolithic and Bronze Age types, and potboilers.
No archaeologically significant features or deposits were identified during the subsequent excavation of the reservoir. No finds were recovered during the watching brief, suggesting that the previously recovered flints had been brought in with material excavated from adjacent dykes.
