1996. Metal detecting find.
Roman dolphin brooch in 2 pieces. Spring mechanism type, 70mm long. Rope decoration along central bow and at ends of wings. Mid 1st century AD. Foot of dolphin brooch. Bow deeply grooved on either side. Catchplate perforated with 3 decorative holes. Mid 1st century AD.
