Full Description
In conifer plantation to northeast of junction of road and Peddars Way.
Rectangular roofless buildings of breezeblock; iron spikes arched over along tops of walls. Single entrances. Previously thought to have been simply sentry posts for the Battle Area, in fact these resemble military buildings like those on Bard Hill, Salthouse and could not have functioned after the trees were planted; and thus are likely to be of wartime origin.
