Full Description
October 1999. Trial Trenching.
Evaluation excavation.
Ground mostly disturbed by 19th/20th century garden construction and demolition.
One Roman sherd and some flints were residual.

Area known as Brundall gardens, area of land bought by Dr Michael Beverly in 1881. The site is believed to have been occupied in Roman times and several Roman finds have been found in the north-east corner of the site.
During the Second World War an area of Brundall Gardens was used as a canteen area by the Royal Artillery from Redclyffe.
