Summary

Metal detecting between 1999 and 2023 recovered medieval and post-medieval pottery sherds; Roman, medieval and post-medieval coins; a post-medieval jetton and a range of other, Late Iron Age/Roman and Middle Saxon to post-medieval metal objects. These metal finds include undated lead weights; a Late Iron Age/Roman brooch; Middle Saxon brooches and a pin; a Late Saxon bridle bit and furniture fitting; medieval to post-medieval dress accessories; medieval harness fittings, a book clasp, vessel and unidentified copper alloy object; a medieval/post-medieval purse fragment and a post-medieval a sword hanger, suspension moun, copper alloy weight and lead musket balls.
