Summary
A concrete and steel base for a spigot mortar, a World War Two anti tank weapon. Dating to about 1940, it was part of the anti invasion installations constructed at the time.

2000. Field Observation and Desk-based Assessment.
Site identified during archaeological assessment of Holkham Estate.
The lower part of a ?mortar spigot, about 1.8m high, with spigot surviving.
