Summary

This timber framed house is probably of late 17th century date. It has a lobby entrance plan, a 17th century chimneystack and several groups of apotropaic marks. The upper floor and roof levels were raised in the late 18th or 19th century.

Timber framed house on former green edge. Three cell lobby entrance plan yet the crudity of the timbering, and the amount of apotropaic graffiti, suggest a late 17th century date. Upper floor heightened about 1800.
