Map

October 2002. Norfolk NMP.
Group of cropmarks of linear features, both banks and ditches, visible on 1945 RAF aerial photographs (S1). A bank can be seen running from TF 8050 4402 to TF 8070 4401, measuring 200m long and 1.5m wide. This is likely to be an old field boundary or hedge. The line of this feature is continued to the west by a single ditch, running from TF 8055 4402 to TF 8037 4409. To the north of these features are three parallel ditches, running north-south. Two are approximately 125m long, one running from TF 8050 4415 to TF 8049 4403 and the other from TF 8046 4416 to TF 8046 4403. A third, 100m long, runs from TF 8044 4417 to TF 8043 4407. These linears are likely to be field or land boundaries, possible late medieval to post medieval in date, as they appears to follow on from the property boundaries to the north.
S. Massey (NMP), 4 October 2002.
