Summary

Part of this late 17th century barn was converted into brick stables in the 18th century. The original timber frame is filled with later brick nogging and it has a pantile roof. There is a 19th century billiard room on one end of the building.

Listing Description:
Gateley Hall Barn.
Barn, late 17th century, converted into brick stables at one end in 18th century. Original work timber framed with later brick noggin, pantile roof. Brick pentise. Fourteen bays with occasional intermediate arch braced ties, collars, two registers of butt purlins and windbracing. 19th century billiard room on end.
