Description
A map indicating the location of trees surveyed at Ryston Hall Park. No scale. This map accompanies SNF102812, which is described as follows: "This survey was carried out to inform the Norfolk County Council Inventory of Historic Parks and Gardens of Special Historic Interest (SNF56525). The surveys were initially undertaken by a Manpower Services Commission team and the Centre of East Anglian Studies (CEAS) at the University of East Anglia and later continued by Dr. T. Williamson and Ms. A. Taigel of CEAS. A detailed description of the development of Ryston Park and gardens, including an overview of the history of the house and its owners, was compiled from a mixture of documentary research and site survey. Work on site included a tree survey. Summaries of this work including a graded assessment of importance were published as an Inventory of Historic Parks and Gardens of Special Historic Interest (SNF56525)."
