The site of a possible medieval moat and a second larger possible rectangular enclosure encompassing the site, also of a probable medieval date, are visible as cropmarks and soilmarks on aerial photographs (S4-S6) and as low earthworks on visualised lidar data from a survey flown in 2021 (S7). It is possible that the outer enclosure may relate to post medieval field boundaries visible on the Tithe (S8) and Ordnance Survey 1st edition 6" map (S9). The possible moat is situated at TM 1107 9430. A former pond is also visible in the south of the site (centred at approximately TM 1108 9426) and is recorded on S9. Further possible boundaries are also visible within the larger possible outer enclosure, such as a possible boundary ditch centred at TM 1113 9429.
