Above is NCM card originally with no grid reference and numbered NHER 10002. NHER 10033 at grid reference was on NCM map sheet as 'bronze axehead? Inf [1]'. A. Gregory (NAU) reports that [2] confirmed from [3] that this was the same find.
E. Rose (NAU), 20 January 1982.

Grid reference moved one field west by farmer [4] in 1981.
S. Margeson (NCM) November 1981.

Grid reference corrected a third time by finder [3] via [1] in 1986.
The spur under the same number is therefore now NHER 23091.

W. Milligan (NCM) November 1986.

1986. Fieldwalking.
Several worked flints found by [1].
1 Palaeolithic worked flint "...with patination and scratching".
1 Neolithic retouched flake and a number of unmodified flakes.
Identified by J. J. Wymer (NAU), 26 November 1986. Information from (S2). The Palaeolithic flake is also described on (S3).
The Norwich Castle Museum holds 5 worked flints from this site (NWHCM : 1999.323.7.4), although it does not appear that the Palaeolithic piece is amongst them as they are listed in the museums records as Neolithic.
Amended by P. Watkins (HES), 13 January 2014.
