Soilmark seen on Ordnance Survey air photograph. Perhaps portion of moat?

2 October 1979. Visit.
[1] says it is visible on ground as broad dark mark. Not visible at time of visit in field of long grass and horses. No earthworks or depressions to suggest moat.
