Summary

A concentration of prehistoric burnt flints, thought possibly to have been used in food preparation, was noted in 1957 and 1985.

South of Little Wood. Concentration of pot boilers.
R. R. Clarke (NCM).

1985. Fieldwalking, walked in strips.
South of Little Wood (Easthawe or Inhams Wood).
Pot boilers 50m from wood, 20m towards ditch. Black patch 50m from ditch, one Roman, one medieval sherd. Later found this was a ditch filled with rubble from gardens near the mill in the Street.
