Summary

It is recorded that a 16th or 17th century building with spectacular star-topped chimneys was situated at Chimneys Farm. It was demolished in 1978 or 1979 after planning permission was granted on appeal.

Noted as 16th or 17th century with great star topped chimneys by (S1).
Demolished in 1978 or 1979 after planning permission granted on appeal. Grain siloes had been built against rear wall.
Condition that materials be preserved for reuse rejected by inspector. Not known if any materials were in fact salvaged.
