Summary

In 1969 a Roman coin of Faustina I was found on the path by the river. Subsequent metal detecting in 1980 recovered a Middle Bronze Age dagger, dating to the 14th-15th century BC.

Sestertius of ?Faustina I (?PIVS FAVSTINA? - ?SPES on rev?). Too worn to see any letter for certain.
Copy NCM card - material not checked.

1980. Found with metal detector on mud shelf just on waterline, where river has been dredged.
Middle Bronze Age dagger, two rivet holes with rivets. Burgess (1968) Group II, Acton Park phase, 15th-14th century BC.
