Site of steam engine house.
Marked by (S1) as a wind pump site.
(S2) give for this site - brick, with chimney. Original steam engine by Smithdale of Acle. 1920, Ruston oil engine. 1940s electric pump installed next door. Writer has a vague memory also of seeing a steam engine house here in 1975 from across the river. But not a brick of it now remains, though the modern pump house is still here.
