Summary

On the 19 October 1343 a Swedish boat on the River Wensum was wrecked during a storm. Forty people were on board, along with a cargo of coal, salt, iron, wood, onions and herrings. Ten bodies were recovered. The exact location at which it was lost is uncertain.

Boat called the 'Blitheburghesbot from Sweden sank near Cantele' in the River Wensum because of a storm.
Forty persons on board plus sea coal, salt, barrels of iron called Osmond, wood, onions and herrings. Ten bodies recovered.
