Summary

The extant brick tower mill is probably a 19th century replacement of an earlier mill , now derelict, with the modern pump house adjacent to it.

Described by (S2) as brick tower with odd kink at top; derelict; modern pump house adjacent.

According to (S4) the modern building is in fact one of the best preserved steam engine houses complete with chimney. Chimney is free standing and leaning, modern engine inserted in house.
