Summary

This 19th century steam drainage pump was designed by Edward Easton. The double gabled building contained a beam engine and scoop wheel which was later replaced by a compound horizontal engine.

(S2) states that this was Monks Loke steam pump, designed by Edward Easton, built around 1840. Double gabled building with beam engine and scoop wheel later replaced by a compound horizontal engine by Easton.
