Full Description
Site of steam engine house, built for drainage purposes. It is not marked on (S1) but appears on all later 19th-century maps.

October 2004.
(S2) states that this was Monks Loke steam pump, designed by Edward Easton, built around 1840. Double gabled building with beam engine and scoop wheel later replaced by a compound horizontal engine by Easton.
