Map

Drainage mill.
E. Rose (NAU).

This must surely be the site of Langley Roundhouse steam pump although (S1) puts that at TG38800280, this site is not mentioned by (S1) despite being marked on current mapping; he has probably assumed the wrong site from the name. It was built around 1840 with a scoop wheel.
E. Rose (NLA), 27 September 2004.

The site is marked as a drainage windmill on (S2), (S3) and (S4) but had been replaced by a steam engine house by (S5). The site is now occupied by a modern electric pump house.
A. Yardy (HES), 21 November 2011.
