Summary
A figurine of St Paul, made of alabaster, and probably dating to the 15th century. The figurine was discovered hidden within the chimney of a cottage, and was probably once part of a plaque depicting St Peter and St Paul, to whom the parish church of Bergh Apton is dedicated.

Full Description
1965.
Alabaster figure of St Paul, 15th century, found in a cottage in Gravel Pit Lane. Probably once a pair of St Peter and St Paul from a plaque, nearby church dedicated to St Peter and St Paul.
The figure may have been hidden in the cottage during the Reformation.
