Schedule suggests from 'shape and position' that this is an Early Saxon burial mound, later used as a windmill mound.
Confirmed Monument Protection Programme scheduling no longer records this as a Saxon site.

A mound, slightly oval and measuring approximately 11m by 14m, is visible on aerial photographs on Mill Hill, Belton Common (S2). The site is centred on TG 4780 0187. The cropmarks of a possible small ring ditch have also been recorded 200m to the northwest (NHER 43604), possibly associated with a Neolithic long barrow or mortuary enclosure.
S. Massey (NMP), 01 November 2006.
March 2009.
Section 17 management agreement renewed.
See (S3).
D. Robertson (NLA), 11 August 2010.
