Summary

A small flint and brick structure was recorded here. It incorporated medieval materials but was probably a post medieval hut or lavatory. No trace of this building was visible when the site was visited in 1978.

Small flint and brick structure 2.1m (7ft) x 1.6m (5ft 6in) made of medieval materials but probably post medieval hut or lavatory.

19 July 1978. Site visit by E. Rose (NAU)
No trace of this after quartering the area for some time, but 6ft high nettles meant I could have passed within 10m and not have seen it. Only thing found was fenced area about this spot about 100m square where nettles only grow a few inches high - no apparent reason why.
