Map

No mapped location recorded.

Pre 1935. Stray Find.
It is noted in (S1) that a possible Upper Palaeolithic "Solutrean…laurel leaf" had been found in the Gorleston area prior to 1935. Information from (S2).

It had been suggested that this may be the same object a possible Upper Palaeolithic leaf point from Gorleston that was described by J. J. Wymer in (S3). It appears that this object was found on the Holmes Housing Estate in around 1958 and therefore cannot be the same object. See NHER 10554.
Amended by P. Watkins (HES), 8 April 2014 and 5 September 2014.
