Full Description
Pre 1907. Stray Find.
According to (S1) the Cambridge University Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology holds at least one Palaeolithic lithic implement found in Broome prior to 1907. No other details are given by (S1), although a note on (S2) suggests that (S3) may contain further details.
Although the CUMAA's records suggest that it does indeed hold several Palaeolithic objects that are listed as being from "Broom" or "Broome" these are believed to be from Dorset. It should be noted that no finds from Broome in Norfolk are listed by (S4) as being held by this museum.
Amended by P. Watkins (HES), 26 February 2014.
