Location

Map sheet TM49NW
Civil Parish TOFT MONKS, SOUTH NORFOLK, NORFOLK

Map

North of Hall.
Possible moat; suggested by shape of pond on (S1).

July 1979.
Not closely accessible owing to crop surrounding it; feature overgrown with bushes; no variation in crop where a southern arm might be expected.
E. Rose (NAU), 25 July 1979.

(S2) shows this as a rectangular east to west pond. However the current GIS mapping suggests this has been opened out to form an irregular pond.
E. Rose (NLA), 24 January 2005.
