Summary

Human remains, probably dating from the medieval or post medieval periods, have been found at this site, close to St Mary's Church, see NHER 10746, and the site of a medieval chapel, known as St Peter's, see NHER 10750. Other medieval human remains have been found nearby, see NHER 10748 and NHER 10749.

Human skull found on fence post, presumably ploughed up in field.
Source [1] states that the skull is that of a male, aged over 50, arthritic, more than 200 years old.

1 reduced slight sandy body sherd of pottery, possibly Thetford ware type, weight 2.6g.
