Summary

The remains of a moat that surrounds the site of medieval Roydon Hall Manor. The north and east arms of the moat survive, although they are gradually filling in. The north arm is partly used as a swimming pool.

Site of Roydon Hall Manor. Called Tuft's Hall Yards in (S1).

Description of moat by Ordnance Survey: only parts of north and east arms survive. 12m wide, 1.8m deep; seasonally waterfilled and being gradually infilled. East end of northern arm is described as being used as a swimming pool, whilst west end in use as a pond.
