Summary

A possible medieval moat is associated with the house here. The house itself has a timber frame and cluster of brick chimneys. It has been suggested it was built in two phases with the west end dating to around 1600 and the adjoining barn with sleeping quarters above, attached to house by a stair turret, possibly of late 17th century date.
