2 August 1977. NAU air photographs.
Earthworks of moated site.

Marked as Ordnance Survey antiquity.
Note the outworks or approach to west.

Manor house within moat is an early 17th century timber framed building with a massive chimney.

Moat partly surrounds farm buildings, filled in to southeast and south.
Dry and nettle filled to east of farm drive.
Wet to west of farm drive, and west arm also wet.
Width varies between about 2 to 3m but widens to some 15m at northwest corner to form a pond.
Earthworks noted on NHER to west are not now evident.
Occupier says land was ploughed 25 to 30 years ago.
Moat dredged to fair depth a few years ago.
