Ordnance Survey claim that this is not a moat, merely a north/south aligned pond, with a connecting drain to the east.

Farm buildings have been removed in places and a garage/car yard constructed.

The section of possible earthwork medieval moat (see above) are visible on visualised lidar data from a survey flown in 2021 (S2). As the survey was flown relatively recently, it is likely that the features still survive as earthworks.
