Pre 1930s.
Flat bronze axe. 13.5cm (5 3/10 inches) long by 10.4cm (4 1/10 inches) across cutting edge. No data. R. R. Clarke (NCM) suggests perhaps from Castle Rising or Bressingham. He gives no evidence and is probably having in mind those above (NHER 3297 and 11134) and Bulwer illustrations 1223 B77 235 951 (NCM) of two flat axes from Bressingham. It is NOT one of these, being far broader.
A. Lawson (NAU) 6 November 1981.
