Summary

In 1974 building debris and 14th-18th century pottery sherds were recorded at this location. It was felt that this site may have been occupied during the medieval to post medieval period and associated with the nearby kiln (NHER 11268). This also seems to be the site marked on an early 19th century tithe map as Mr Catton's house, Frog's Hall, though changes in field boundaries make determining its exact location difficult.
