Summary

In 1974 a ring ditch surrounding a low earthen mound was noted at this location. These features were felt to be Bronze Age in date and were also visible on 1970 Ordnance Survey aerial photographs.

Ring ditch previously noted as being to north of road at TF 9555 3967c. Now relocated on basis of aerial photograph to south of road at TF 9554 3960c.

The barrow survives as a low mound, about 30m across and 0.2m high.
The wood shown on (S1) was removed in the 1950s. The site was under cultivation from the 1950s to about 2007. Information from [1].
