Summary

Metal detecting has recovered a wide range of metal finds dating from the Roman to the post medieval period. These include Roman, medieval and post medieval coins, an Early Saxon buckle, a Late Saxon strap end, a Late Saxon bridle cheek piece, a medieval leaf-shaped weight and a medieval swivel from a leash.

January 1993. Metal detecting finds.
?Medieval leaf shaped lead weight, suspension loop missing. Both faces convex.
Medieval gilt bronze strap end buckle fragment; frame missing. Terminal has rivet and hook (like the complete one from NHER 3602).14th century.
D shaped buckle frame, with bulbous resting bar. Probably Early Saxon. See (S1).
