Summary

Aerial photographs taken in 1972 show the cropmarks of a road in this area. This road does not appear on Faden's map of 1797, but it is shown on the 1836 Ordnance Survey as Clipper Lane.

Does appear on 1836 Ordnance Survey (S4) as Clipper Lane.

This road is also depicted on the 1840 Tithe Map (S5) and is visible as an earthwork on Enviroment Agency LiDAR (S6) along with other field boundaries depicted on the Tithe Map.
