Summary

A lemon-shaped enclosure can be seen on aerial photographs as a cropmark and an earthwork. A prehistoric worked flint flake and a fragment of Roman pottery were found here.

Oval cropmark. Revealed on Ordnance Survey air photograph. NAU air photographs make it seem more lemon shaped, like a larger version of the pit marked to north.
Notified by informant to NCM.

1979.
Roman sherd and flake found by A. Lawson (NAU). Feature exists as earthwork.
