Summary

A number of medieval enclosures and a hollow way are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs. In 1976 some of the cropmarks were visible on the ground as soilmarks and medieval pottery sherds were collected from the site.

East to west mark clearly visible as whitish band from edge of field, but not from close quarters. North to south marks not visible. Clear soilmark of rectangular enclosure is visible.

Member of the public [1] states that the linear mark was a hollow way, a portion west of Long's Lane that was disused before 1577 when it was referred to as a boundary formerly used as a path.
